The client's brief for this boat was simple, a comfortable, fast cruising boat suitable for ocean passages, with minimal crew was required.

They also wanted easy access to shallow waterways, thus the retrievable dagger board was incorporated in the design.

Mariah has marvellous through-flow from the cockpit straight into the raised saloon.

With a simple approach to the amount of wood finish, the main saloon and cabins have a light feel to them without losing that all important yacht persona.

As pictured left, the 100hp Yanmar diesel pushes "MARIAH" along at a handsome 8-9 knot cruise speed for those inevitable days of no wind.
