In another development sure to enhance Harbour Yachts' international reputation, Louis Vuitton media maestro, Bruno Trouble, is having a "Next 56" built by Harbour Yachts for his return to organise the 2002 Louis Vuitton regatta.
In announcing that Harbour Yachts would build the new yacht, the former America’s Cup skipper said he had unexpectantly fallen in love with New Zealand, adding, “these kiwi builders are all passionate people, dedicated to their profession. They do not just construct a boat to make a living, they live the construction as one lives a passion".
Harbour Yachts welcomes the opportunity to build on the successes from the America’s Cup defence in 2000 and anticipates even more business from the Louis Vuitton and America’s Cup regattas in 2002/2003.The Yard welcomes inquiries about these revolutionary new yachts.
